  • It’s that time of year again where all the kids rush back off to school- but did you get any photos taken to remember what they look like this year? What about your family pets? They’ve gotten another year older too. Remember the times with a new family picture!

Sign up online to schedule a time to come in and have your family photo taken with your furry best friend! For $40 you will receive three of your best photos (professionally edited) emailed to you from your session as well as your choice between 4 different backgrounds. Photo sessions are scheduled as a 20-minute time frame, so please be sure to arrive on time!

    RULES:
    - Upon arrival all animals must wait in owner's car until you are called into the photoshoot. When it is your session time, you will receive a text letting you know you may bring your family and animals into the training room (farthest door on the right of the front of the building)
    - All cats must be brought into the building and leave from the building in a proper kennel. If you do not have a kennel, please let an employee know and we can let you borrow one to secure your cat
    - All dogs must be on a non-retractable leash. If you do not have a standard leash, please let an employee know and we can let you borrow one. Any owner who refuses to have their pet on a non-retractable leash will be asked to leave
    - Animals must not walk the grounds of the shelter. We have shelter animals outside on their walks at all times of day and we want to ensure there is no animal-to-animal contact with shelter animals or family-owned pets
    - Please bring poop bags for your dogs in case there are any unexpected messes!
    - Please sign up providing the cellphone number that you will be arriving with so we can text you when to come into the building
    - We will be upholding a tight schedule so please be sure to arrive slightly early to your booked session time. We will only have the time frame that you signed up for, so if you are late to the shoot we will need to expedite your photoshoot or possibly cancel
    - Reactive dogs are welcomed! We will only have one family in the training room at a time

In Support of Humane Society of West Michigan
Humane Society of West Michigan, a 501(c)3 non profit organization, assists over 8,000 animals annually. We are 100% donor-funded! We receive no funding from the government or national animal welfare organizations. Caring individuals and businesses in our community support our mission to rescue hurt, abused and abandoned animals and find them a new forever home. Additional programs help reduce pet overpopulation, provide assistance to low income pet owners, behaviorally assess animals and reunite lost pets with their owners.
