Does your pet deserve to have their photo on a billboard? Should thousands of people see their picture??
By participating in the Humane Society of West Michigan’s “Picture Paw-fect” billboard fundraiser, you can fundraise to win a private pet photoshoot and have your pet featured on a highly visible billboard in West Michigan!
The winner of this highly coveted prize will be based on which pet raises the most money. $1 = 1 vote, and voters can donate directly to your page!
To participate in this competition, complete the following steps.
1. Click on the "Register Your Pet" Button
2. Share a personal message about your precious pet
3. Add a photo of your pet to be featured on the voting page
4. Pay the $10 Registration Fee
5. Share your page to collect donations!
CONTEST RULES* HSWM reserves all rights for decisions made for the contest.
* Voting begins 7/21 at 12:00 AM
* Voting ends 8/21 at 11:59 PM
* The winning pets will be featured on a billboard in the greater Grand Rapids area for one week in October 2025 (dates subject to change)
* HSWM will not be responsible for travel costs for winner to arrive at our shelter for the private photoshoot
* Mail in donations must be received at HSWM and logged in the donation system by 4:30 PM on 8/21. Donations received after this time will not be counted in the voting process.

Humane Society of West Michigan, a 501(c)3 non profit organization, assists over 8,000 animals annually. We are 100% donor-funded! We receive no funding from the government or national animal welfare organizations. Caring individuals and businesses in our community support our mission to rescue hurt, abused and abandoned animals and find them a new forever home. Additional programs help reduce pet overpopulation, provide assistance to low income pet owners, behaviorally assess animals and reunite lost pets with their owners.
