Thank you for your interest in volunteer at the 2024 Humane Hustle event! This event includes a 5K, 1 Mile Walk, Kids Run, and a day full of activities.
Humane Hustle is on November 9th at Cannonsburg Ski Area. We need volunteers for set-up, the main event, and tear-down. Please fill out the form below to indicate when and where you want to volunteer.
-Set Up: Involves unloading, setting up tents and tables, and some heavy lifting.
-Registration: Involves checking in attendees, helping new attendees pay, and passing out race materials.
-Main Event: (Longest shift) Involves running various activities.
-Start/Finish Line: Involves cheering, passing out water, handing out flowers, etc.
-Tear Down: Involves packing, tearing down, cleaning area, loading vehicles, and some heavy lifting.
*IMPORTANT: If you are under 18, a parent or guardian will have to be present when you arrive to sign your volunteer waiver. No exceptions.

Humane Society of West Michigan, a 501(c)3 non profit organization, assists over 8,000 animals annually. We are 100% donor-funded! We receive no funding from the government or national animal welfare organizations. Caring individuals and businesses in our community support our mission to rescue hurt, abused and abandoned animals and find them a new forever home. Additional programs help reduce pet overpopulation, provide assistance to low income pet owners, behaviorally assess animals and reunite lost pets with their owners.
